A Sumptuous Start to Your Day on Cape Cod.

Makes 4 servings.


  • 2 Cups cranberry juice
  • Fresh squeezed orange juice


Select freezer safe glasses. Stemmed glassware with a rounded bottom inside the glass creates the best effect. Fill the bottom quarter of the glass with cranberry juice. Freeze the glasses over night.

When you are ready to serve. Pour orange juice into the glasses and serve immediately. As the glass warms up the cranberry will float to the top, creating your Cape Cod sunrise.

Baked pears in brown sugar and spice followed by gingerbread pancakes with lemon sauce and crispy bacon, or Palmer House cranberry sorbet followed by Atlantic salmon quiche with cream cheese and a bagel.
