Palmer House’s Buttermilk Biscuit Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups sifted all-purpose flout
  • 1 Tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 Tsp salt
  • 3/4 Cups buttermilk
  • 1 Tbs sugar
  • 1/8 Stick of butter, melted

Directions

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

Mix all ingredients together, roll out to 1/2 inch thickness and cut into 2 inch briskets.

Cook for 10 minutes. Serve immediately with butter and preserves.
