Our friend Mim has shared with us another of her favorite old Cape Cod recipes. This is one that she enjoys preparing this time of year because the apples and and cranberries are being harvested.

Ingredients:
- 5-6 MacIntosh apples
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1 cup crushed walnuts

In a medium sized bowl combine the remaining ingredients and spread evenly over the top of the fruit and nut mixture.
Bake for an hour at 350 degree oven.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool before serving.
Some variations on Mim’s Pilgrim Pie Recipe are:
- Pears, raspberries and Pecans
- Peaches, blueberries and almonds
