Your Wedding Day
After the ceremony at the church or beach of your choice, we suggest that your reception be held at Falmouth Historic Society’s Museums on the Green. Their new education and function building at 55 Palmer Avenue is just steps from our Cape Cod Bed and Breakfast.
The function room comfortably seats fifty people at 60″ round tables. Tables and chairs are included. There is a state of the art commercial kitchen. The function room’s magnificent flooring is made of recycled hickory wood and the room features a vaulted ceiling with indirect lighting. The west wall features three sets of French doors that open onto a large deck. During the time of the reception the museum’s lovely grounds and gardens are open to your guests.
Please contact the Falmouth Historic Society’s Museums on the Green for current rates. Be sure to mention the Palmer House when booking your event.
The Palmer House Inn’s parlor, with inviting fireplace and grand windows, is perfect for gathering with your guests staying at the Inn before and after the big day. Let the stained glass windows and highly polished hardwood floors enhance the scene. A Cape Cod gourmet breakfast will be served in the sun bathed dining room each morning.
In addition to the beautiful interior of the Palmer House Inn we welcome photography on the spacious front porch surrounded by rhododendrons and azaleas or in the herb garden.
The Palmer House Inn has 17 rooms for your guests. All of our rooms have sumptuous 600 thread count triple sheeting, telephones, alarm clock radios, hair dryers, irons, ironing boards, luggage racks, ceiling fans, ice buckets, bottled water, air conditioning and WiFi. Several rooms include whirlpool tubs and cozy fireplaces.
Planning & Preparing for the Day
Here at the Inn we have a unique process to help plan every detail of your wedding day. We provide personal attention to you and every one of your guests. We are happy to recommend local caterers, florists, spas & beauticians, bakers, equipment rental and many other necessities for your event.
The Palmer House Inn provides seclusion, yet countless fine restaurants, quaint shops, beautiful beaches and ferry shuttles to Martha’s Vineyard are a short stroll from the Inn. We are under two hours drive from Boston, Providence, and Provicetown.
