Driving Directions

Find Your Way to Our B&B in Falmouth, MA

Regardless of which route you are contemplating, we recommend consulting with Google Maps or a similar app, such as Waze to determine the best route and traffic conditions.

  • Take I-95 to I-195 in Providence to Route 25 East to Bourne Bridge.
  • Depending on traffic, you may find the Hutchinson and Merritt Parkways to be easier to drive between the NY/CT state line and New Haven, Connecticut.
  • Take Exit 54 to the I-95 in Milford and continue East.
  • We also encourage NYC residents to consider taking one of the Long Island to New London, CT ferries and then to continue on I-95. Those of our guests who have chosen this route have reported enjoyable and low-traffic travel on the Connecticut side of Long Island Sound.
  • Take I-90 to 495 South (will become Route 25) to Bourne Bridge.
  • Take Route 3 South to Route 6 to Bourne Bridge.
  • An alternate route is to take the Southeast Expressway to 128 north, exit left on 24 south and exit right onto 495 south to the Bourne Bridge.
  • Follow Route 28 South approximately 12 miles – divided highway will become a two-lane road.
  • Continue straight through the traffic signal at Jones Road for approximately 1/2 mile.
  • Route 28 (Palmer Ave.) turns left towards the center of Falmouth.
  • Palmer House Inn is the first house on the left past the shops. The driveway to our private, off-street parking is to the left hand side of the Inn.

Airport Travel

Fly to Cape Cod

To get to our Falmouth, MA bed and breakfast there are two airports readily accessible to Cape Cod.

If you are using public transportation, you may want to consider LOGAN AIRPORT in Boston, Massachusetts. We recommend the Peter Pan Bus Lines’ Woods Hole Bus which departs from Terminals A, B, C and E. We strongly urge you to make prior on-line or telephone reservations. Your destination is Falmouth, MA, the second to last stop, and before the final Woods Hole terminus.

For those of our guests looking to rent a car, we often recommend T.F. GREEN Airport in Providence, Rhode Island. Although it is actually two miles farther from Falmouth than Boston’s Logan Airport, you will likely encounter less traffic than you would in Boston, and be in Falmouth faster! Take the Airport Connector to I-95 East to Providence and take exit 19 onto Route 195 to 495 East to the Bourne Bridge.
