Ingredients:

  •

4 pounds (approximately 12) organic apples, peeled, cored, and quartered
  • 1 cup Cape Cod cranberries
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Sugar to taste
  • Cinnamon to taste

Directions:

Add apples and cranberries to the crock pot and pour water over top.  Turn heat to low and cook for 6 hours. Remove lid and stir to break up apples and cranberries that may still be in large pieces. Serve as is, or use a blender to smooth it out.

If you want to make this applesauce recipe sweeter, add sugar, brown sugar, or cinnamon to the crock pot before cooking starts.
