It is the loving attention to the tiniest detail that I most enjoyed… a napkin ring of heavy pewter, with a kitty cat, an eagle and elephant. Beautiful stemware in the room to sip water, & yes, diet coke! A warming fireplace that lights with the touch of button. Thick, luscious towels, & Pat’s great scope of knowledge & maps of the area.
D. most enjoyed the miraculous, muscle relaxing jetted tub, the quiet elegance of the room, which made our stay calming and restful, and the delicious breakfasts. The Champagne & chocolates, with ‘Happy Anniversary’ message was an especially appreciated gesture. A perfect retreat for an anniversary. We forgot about the real world, for a few days.
