“During New England’s Whaling boom in the 19th Century, Falmouth was a bustling hub of whaling activity, with over half of its male residents involved in the trade in some way. In what has become an annual collaboration combining art and history, students from Falmouth High School’s advanced ceramics classes will be exhibiting pieces created to honor and illustrate the colorful characters and rich stories of Falmouth’s whaling past.” – Falmouth Historical Society
