The crisp snap of seasonal glitter starts with the Holidays by the Sea Weekend in Falmouth. Begin the festive weekend by singing carols at Nobska Lighthouse as the winter’s sun sets over Vineyard Sound. Enjoy a heartwarming breakfast with your stay at the Palmer House Inn before zipping out to greet Santa as he arrives by boat at beautiful Falmouth Harbor. Join in the caroling at the lighting of the Village Green, enjoy the hospitality of merchants as you stroll down decorated Main Street before and after the lighting. Get ready for the biggest small-town Christmas parade in all of Southeast New England. Parade steps off at noontime at the Falmouth Mall, proceeds down Main Street towards the Village Green. Known as Southeastern Massachusetts’ largest holiday parade featuring theme-decorated floats, clowns, animals, marching bands and Santa Claus. 12 pm
We invite you to visit our inns during the holidays. The Falmouth Bed & Breakfast Association is pleased to be part of the town’s annual holiday celebration. Historic properties of the Falmouth Bed & Breakfast Association are welcoming visitors to a Holiday Open House Tour. The tour includes inns in Falmouth Heights, Falmouth Village and Woods Hole.
Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased at the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce or any of the participating inns. All proceeds will go to the Falmouth Military Support Group, which provides support to our area’s service members serving abroad and also when they return home. The group also provides support for military families and friends.
Join Falmouth Village as it celebrates St. Patrick’s Day
The entire village has turned Irish for the celebration. The Mexican restaurant has become O’Anejo and O’La Cucina sul Mare is the town’s Irish-Italian restaurant. As always there will be fine music, pints and craic at Liam Maguire’s Irish Pub and the O’Connells at the O’Palmer House Inn will welcome you with a cozy bed, heartwarming Irish food and traditional Irish music in the parlor.

Every Thursday, local farmers, bakers, and culinary artisans sell fresh produce, cheese, wine, bread, coffee, chocolate, lobsters and other seafood products, plants, flowers and home baked goodies at Peg Noonan park in downtown Falmouth.
