As children both of our families vacationed on Cape Cod. We have chosen to return here after careers in the corporate world and education. We have always loved the dynamic New England seasons, from the warmth and freshness of spring to the vibrant colors of fall and everything in between. Sharing our passion for the Cape in all its seasons with guests and friends is one of the primary reasons we chose The Palmer House Inn.

As native New Englander’s we love Cape Cod. We have made an effort to preserve the Cape’s old fashioned charm in this classic family home. Our carefully prepared gourmet breakfasts, feature classic New England recipes such as Johnny Cakes with maple syrup and sausage or blueberry muffins with three cheese scrambled eggs and apple wood smoked bacon. We are delighted when guests tell us how much they enjoy awakening to the aromas of freshly brewed coffee and home baked bread.

After breakfast we are happy to provide complimentary bikes and beach towels for a day of riding, beach going or sightseeing.

At 3:00pm we bring out the freshly baked cookies, iced tea, or cider and hot tea for your enjoyment. As always our staff is happy to assist you by booking your dinner reservations at any one of the area’s fine restaurants.
