Heights Beach, Falmouth, Cape Cod

Heights Beach.

The popular Falmouth Heights Beach hosts many events throughout the year. It is home to the Falmouth Road Race finish-line festivities as well as Fourth of July fireworks on the beach. There are two restaurants at the beach for dining and snacks.

Casino Wharf FX is an upscale eatery with lovely decks that overlook Vineyard Sound. They serve lunch and dinner in addition to hosting weddings and other functions.

The British Beer Company is located directly across Grand Avenue from the beach and is known for it’s inviting casual dining atmosphere. During the beach going season they have walk-up window service.

Safety

The beach has lifeguards in the summer. It is handicap accessible, but because of a high sea wall, handicapped accessibility from the wall to the beach is limited.

Stickers/Passes

Beach stickers are required and can be purchased at the Surf Beach bath house from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Also, many B&B’s have passes available at their desks.

Facilities

Portable toilets are available from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.

Parking

Parking is limited. There is a town owned parking lot and there’s a small strip of metered parking on Grand Avenue between Walden Avenue and Crescent Park Avenue.

While all of our rooms have their own charm suitable for relaxation after the most wonderful day of beach-going adventures, we recommend the Harriet Beecher Stowe room, the Theodore Roosevelt room or the Emily Dickinson room. These rooms feature comfortable king beds, fireplaces, jetted tubs and a relaxing stay before and after your day.
