This year’s parade featured many wonderfully decorated bicycles and fun for the entire family. Even a few family pets got in on the fun.

Falmouth will be celebrating the 4th in style

Monday, July 4th, 2011 at 10 a.m.

Start the day with the 4th of July Bike Parade, Sponsored by the Falmouth Village Association. Decorate your bike, wagon or stroller and join the parade… or stand on the side and watch all the fun as it rolls by.

At dusk at Falmouth Heights Beach. Spectators are asked to bring a radio and to set it to 92.7,WMVY, in order to hear the music that accompanies the show.

This week is “Falmouth’s Strawberry Festival”.

It will take place under the big white tent on the grounds of Saint Barnabas Church. A good time will be had by all. There will be home made, home grown, strawberry short cake and lobster rolls,  a “Flee Market” and plant sale. In other words, come and take a “step back in time” New England style.
