WineryBarnstable County Fair 
The Barnstable County Agricultural Society holds a county fair, consisting primarily of livestock and handicraft exhibits, each year in July.

Cape Cod Winery, Inc 
open for wine tasting and sales - check website for hours of operation.  They have planted 6 varieties of wine grapes that grow well on Cape Cod; Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Pinot Grigio, Seyval and Vidal. We produce 2000 cases of wine annually and they won a Bronze medal for our Nobska Red wine in the International Eastern Wine Competition. 

Falmouth Museums on the Green Gardens
Explore Falmouth's past at Museums On The Green.  Stroll through Colonial gardens.  Tour two 18th-century houses with period furnishings.  Step into an early 1800's doctor's office.

Heritage Museums & Gardens 
Serving over 100,000 visitors annually from around the world. The American History Museum now houses the Cape Cod Baseball League Hall of Fame and a small gallery displays selected military miniatures and antique firearms within the building. The Dan'l Webster Inn Cafe is now located on the grounds and each building has a retail shop. Other additions to the grounds include a Labyrinth and Sculpture garden. 

John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum JKF Museum
The Museum is a multimedia exhibit designed to open a window on the days JFK spent on Cape Cod; days relaxing with family, days playing football with PT109 buddies, days spent sailing on the ocean to which he was so constantly drawn.  The exhibit features over 80 photographs spanning the years 1934 to 1963 and is arranged in thematic groupings to reflect John F. Kennedy, his family, his friends and the Cape Cod he so dearly loved. In addition to photography, a video narrated by Walter Cronkite depicts the president's experiences on the Cape. Several themed areas include charged oral histories of JFK's friends.

16 Main Street, Falmouth Village Green.  Homestead of author of "America The Beautiful".  Her former home is not open to the public; please visit the website above for information on her life and works.

National Marine Fisheries Aquarium 
The oldest research aquarium in the country, Visitors can get behind the scenes and see how an aquarium works. "Touch" tanks are filled with starfish, crabs, lobsters and tautogs.

For rehabilitation and release of stranded whales, dolphins, seals and sea turtles, and advancement of scientific knowledge and education in marine wildlife health and conservation.

Nobska Lighthouse 
One of the most photographed lighthouses in America, Nobska Lighthouse, in Falmouth's Village of Woods Hole, is located on Cape Cod's southwestern coast overlooking the island of Martha's Vineyard.  Virtual Tour.

OceanQuest 
Cruise from station to station aboard our certified and fully equipped research vessel, enjoy the historic beauty of Woods Hole. The Discovery Cruises give passengers an introduction to the major disciplines within oceanography. Salt Pond Areas Bird Sanctuaries, Inc. is a non-profit privately administered corporation dedicated to conserving the natural resources of The Town of Falmouth, Massachusetts.  The challenge for Salt Pond is to preserve, protect the beautiful land within the Town of Falmouth, on Cape Cod.

Spohr Gardens TrustGardens

Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve
WBNERR is located on the south shore of Cape Cod, Massachusetts in the towns of Falmouth and Mashpee. It encompasses some 3,000 acres of open waters, barrier beaches, marshlands and uplands.

Woods Hole Film Festival
Held annually for a week beginning on the last weekend of July and is the oldest independent film festival on Cape Cod and the Islands. 

Woods Hole Historical Museum

Located in Woods Hole village, the Information Office is open to the public and serves as a resource for individuals looking for general information about the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, its ongoing research, and oceanography in general. Our staff answers basic questions and, wherever possible, directs people to other resources both within the Institution and in other organizations or agencies. There a of a number of free public lectures and films available to the public.
